Casca News
We hope everyone is enjoying a happy and healthy return to school. Reuniting our fabulous parent/carer community is our number one priority this term.
We had our first meeting with Ms Law and are feeling really excited by her enthusiasm and dedication to building back a stronger relationship with CSGs parent/carer community.
To that end, as in-person events are looking increasingly possible, we are working with the school to add a few opportunities to meet and greet one another in person for the first time in a long time. There will be more on that soon, but two events already on the books where CASCA is looking forward to seeing you are:
Y7 Disco & Parents Welcome Evening - Thursday 7 October, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
CASCA will be there to meet the new parents and talk briefly about what we do and how you can join us in supporting the school
Enormous Community Jumble Sale - Saturday 13 November from 2pm
Come for a rummage to find brilliant preloved/vintage clothes, toys, books, furniture and so much more. It’s a super fun event and always a big fundraiser for the school, so please save the date.
Watch your ParentMail for details on how/when to start sending in quality donated items to the school and further info about Covid-safe entry arrangements
In other news...
- Thanks again to those returning parents/carers that have expressed an interest in joining in some gardening and ‘greening’ support for the school-- there are a number of exciting opportunities on the cards as it becomes more possible to have people on school grounds and we WILL be in touch. If anyone else would like to sign up for updates on this, please email casca@csg.school to flag your interest.
- We’d also love to hear from you if you’re interested in getting involved with forging a new path for CASCA’s support of CSG, either as a potential volunteer for future events, to act as liaison for your class or year group, or any other ways you would like to get involved. Just email casca@csg.school to get in touch.
