    Congratulations to students who received Headteacher Special Commendations

    Community Spirit Commendations November 2021:

    • Amelia 8C - Amelia has shown enthusiasm this year by volunteering to be a form representative and getting involved with PE clubs.  She is a conscientious, polite and kind member of the form and she should be proud of her consistent positive attitude.
    • Neve 8R -  Neve is a kind, conscientious member of the form.  She always volunteers perceptive, thoughtful responses to group discussions, particularly during PSHE lessons and has shown great commitment to her role as form representative this year - well done Neve!
    • Tess 8T - Tess is an excellent member of the form. She is commended for her role related to the school council and for volunteering to be a buddy.

    Community Spirit Commendations June 2021:

    • Olivia 10C - Olivia is a well-behaved, enthusiastic student who takes part in every activity.  Olivia is clearly determined to make the most of her education and makes excellent contributions to PSHEE discussions
    • Elsie 10M - Elsie is a helpful and thoughtful member of the form who contributes well to the form and PSHEE discussion
    • Lily 10R - Lily is a helpful and kind member of the form who contributes well to the form community
    • Cecily 10T - Cecily is a helpful, respectful and enthusiastic member of the form who contributes well in PSHEE
    • Loveday 7C - Loveday is a polite and caring member of the form.  She is a very good citizen and always offers to help when the opportunity arises.  She is always engaged in PSHE lessons and her contributions are both thoughtful and interesting  Well done Loveday, keep it up!
    • Zahra 7M - Zahra is an enthusiastic and kind member of the form.  She is extremely helpful, always offering to hand things out, or take on any responsibilities within tutor time.  She makes thoughtful contributions to group discussions.  Well done Zahra!
    • Melissa 7R - Melissa is a kind, thoughtful member of the tutor group.  She is a fantastic listener ad is always willing to provide perceptive observations to group discussions.  She has also been extremely welcoming and friendly to a new member of the form recently.  Well done Melissa!
    • Sanae 7T - Sanae is a lovely member of the form.  She is engaged every morning during registration and during our PSHE lessons and has made fantastic contributions to our form competitions.  She is a pleasure to have in the form with her cheerfulness and kind disposition.  Well done Sanae!
    • Amyrah 8C - Set up and encouraged whole form involvement in the 8C blog!
    • Jess 8T - Valuable contributions to PSHE discussion and broader school life

    Community Spirit Commendations March 2021:

    • Rosie 10C - For being helpful in form time, always looking out for others and for making sure the teacher knows when anyone is struggling to access the lessons
    • Sadaf 10M - Always on hand to clarify online lesson content being delivered to the form.  Sadaf has become my eyes as the 'student view' for all work done in form time.  This has been invaluable in making the most effective use of technology over lockdown!
    • Nevaeh 10M - Nevaeh has made fantastic efforts over this lockdown engaging in lessons and making excellent and humourous contributions to online learning despite the many challenges this poses
    • Maya 10R - Excellent contributions to PSHE discussions during lockdown
    • Akusa 10T - Cheerful attitude every morning in registration
    • Rose 11C - For consistently making a great contribution to form activities during online learning
    • Rosslyn 11C - For consistently making a great contribution to form activities during online learning

    • Quinn 7C - Quinn is a kind and caring member of the form.  She is always very polite and she has participated really well in our PSHE sessions this term, despite the move to online learning.  Her work is complted to a high standard and is well presented.  Keep it up Quinn!
    • Edie 7M - Edie is an enthusiastic and helpful member of the form.  She has been full of good ideas for lockdown activities, as well as making outstanding contributions to our baking and photography competitions.  Well done Edie!
    • Maria 7R - Maria is a kind, considerate and conscientious member of the form.  She has handled the transition to remote learning excellently and is always willing to share her peceptive thoughts and creative ideas with the form.  Well done Maria!
    • Zofia 7T - Zofia is an excellent member of the form.  She is engaged every morning during registration and during our PSHE lessons and has made fantastic contributions to our form competitions!  She is a pleasure to have in the form with her cheerfulness and kind disposition.  Well done Zofia!
    • Rahma 8M - Rahma cooked an amazing Mexican dish for the Spanish cooking competition
    • Verity 8R - Verity made an incredible effort and cooked amazing churros for the Spanish cooking competition
    • Raeesah 9C - Raeesah has been excellent in PSHE and registration, is contributing lots and generally really positive during this lockdown period
    • Bobbie 9M - Consistently engaged, has a positive attitude every morning and contributes in form and tutor period enthusiastical
    • Avery 9R - Consistently engaged in PSHE and registration, contributes enthusiastically and has an overall positive attitude
    • Ondine 9R - Consistently engaged in PSHE and registration, contributes enthusiastically and has an overall positive attitude
    • Billie 9R - Consistently engaged in PSHE and registration, contributes enthusiastically and has an overall positive attitude
    • Charlotte 9R - Consistently engaged in PSHE and registration, contributes enthusiastically and has an overall positive attitude
    • Kathryn 9T - A very positive and engaged member of the form.  Kathryn did a fantastic job in  choreographing the Y9 dance for the Christmas assembly

     

       

    Jack Petchey Award Winners November 2021

    Waye 8T - Coping with adversity, she started this year at CSG, settled in very well to the form group and to the school generally.  Waye tries her best and is collaborative and kind to her peers, always on task and following instructions, she did a poster for Black History Month which impressed the History Department

    Malaika 9C - Malaika is an engaged member of the school community, a dedicated representative for her Form group, always keen to help others and attends lots of clubs.  She helped raise awareness for the Climate Crisis by being a member of the Save the Planet Club. Plays football outside of school and is a trained referee

    Charlotte 10R - Charlotte is a member of the Head Girl Team, a kind and supportive role model.  She has helped with the New Year 7s transition to secondary school, running lunch time clubs for the younger students.  She also motivates students to take part in the schools fundraising events ie: Pink Day, Macmillan Coffee Morning.
