Applications
Applications for September 2027 intake will be available from Tuesday, 17 November 2026. We follow a two-year three A Level programme of study. Students must choose three subjects to study at A Level. Students are expected to pass GCSEs at grade 6 or above in English language and mathematics, and three other GCSEs at grade 6 or above. Students who are predicted six or more GCSEs at grade 7 or above have the option to choose four A Level subjects. Some courses have specific requirements (details for each subject here). To study Further Maths, students must be predicted a minimum of grade 7 in mathematics. Please carefully read our Determined Admissions Arrangements before submitting an application.

Open Day
Students and their parents are invited to come to see the school, meet staff and discuss sixth form courses. There will be three sessions on Tuesday, 17 November 2026, each lasting approximately an hour and a half, as follows:
- Morning programme starts at 10:45am
- Afternoon programme starts at 2:00pm
- Evening programme starts at 5:15pm
Entrance to our Sixth Form Open Day is on a ticket-only basis. All sessions for the Open Day are now fully booked. Unwanted tickets are automatically released back onto the website. Please check back daily for returned tickets. Tickets are free and available by clicking here from Thursday, 1 October 2026.
