This week: Sixth Form Open Day, Main School Head Girl Team

    Sixth Form Open Day
We welcomed over 2,400 people to our Sixth Form Open Day last week. Parents and students were told about the wide range of activities available in school, including Masterclasses, enrichments such as ceramics, mindfulness and photography and chances to perform in music productions and plays.

All this is in addition to the excellent teaching and Higher Education advice. Parents and students were generous in their praise of the teaching staff and the quality of information they received. Many thanks to all for making it such a successful day.

Congratulations to the Main School Head Girl Team
...who gave a wonderful assembly on Monday, reminding us of all the events they have organised and helped with this year, including the Jumble Sale, Pink Day, Black History month, the Danceathon, Macmillan coffee morning, and numerous lunchtime clubs as well as helping out at Open Evenings, the Y7 disco and much, much more. They publish advice about mental health for students, and they have raised an extraordinary amount of money for the school and for charity; I am intrigued to know how much the total amount is. They are fabulous role models and they really make the school buzz!

Onwards and upwards, head girl team!!
