Cards of Care is an initiative that involves connecting as many young people with the elderly through writing them personal cards. It started during lockdown by sending cards to the elderly in care homes to show that they were not forgotten.
Eden in Year 12 kindly decided to get Camden School for Girls involved in this project and this year we reached out to 7T. It was so great to see 7T get involved in this new project, which enabled them to touch people’s lives so personally and send them some love and hope during these difficult times.
We were thrilled to see all the lovely cards 7T had created with so many beautiful drawings including many gorgeous Christmas trees, lots of flowers and smiley faces!
We want to thank 7T for all their kind and thoughtful messages they wrote to the elderly in care homes. I am sure all their fantastic work into writing these cards will make this festive season a really special one for the elderly people!
